How To Fight Blackheads

September 4th, 2009

The 12 year old cheerleader, the 25 year old probing her skin before a girl’s night out, the working mom aged 43… Now they may say acne is a puberty thing that goes away in time, but what can we do about blackheads??? You will be surprised to know the number of people who actually do not know what blackheads are! Blackheads are a blockage caused by natural oils that your pores produce, and in no-time, acne causing bacteria takes over and blocks the pore completely resulting in either blackheads, or whiteheads. Although there are many, many products that will enable us to rid them chemically, here are some basic must-dos for smooth flawless skin;

Firstly, massage your face with a warm, damp cloth every evening before cleansing. This loosens and dissolves dirt and other harmful particles.

Secondly, although oil-based makeup has absolutely effective coverage, you must avoid using them for they will most deifinitely clog up your pores.

Finally, stop scratching or scrubbing you face! The damage done to your skin will cause your skin to try and repair that damage by producing natural oils.

Doesn’t cost, doesn’t involve TOO much hard work : ) why not start following these steps now? Good Luck~
